An end to demolition?!

Why is demolition happening in times of ambitions for sustainable and circular cities? The answer often has to do with financial considerations; demolition-new construction is often cheaper than renovation. How do we break the demolition cycle? In collaboration between IABR: Nature of Hope and Form Follows Finance, we will analyse the Amsterdam and Rotterdam cases and talk to experts about solutions to demolish less and renovate and recycle more.
