The exhibition takes place in the Nieuwe Instituut (Museumpark 25, Rotterdam) and is open every Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased here. On Thursday evenings, the Nieuwe Instituut offers free admission from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a reserved e-ticket for the evening museum opening.

Nature of Hope is the 11th edition of the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (IABR), focusing on how architecture can contribute to ecological balance and biodiversity.
What are the main components of the exhibition?
Nature of Hope consists of four components throughout the period: the exhibition at the Nieuwe Instituut, featuring over 50 architectural works and a Practice Place for transforming practices through seven Assemblies; a Public Program that includes symposia, guided tours, lectures, and workshops, with the agenda available online; and Botanical Monuments, a green route through Rotterdam highlighting 27 local ecological initiatives. What are the Botanical Monuments?
Botanical Monuments consists of green public space initiatives across various locations in Rotterdam, connected through regenerative community and gardening practices, and rooted in coexistence and daily rituals with nature – from canoe tours to lectures. This green route encompasses 25 locations. Participation in activities or accessing the monuments requires registration. Is Nature of Hope accessible with a Museumjaarkaart?
If you have a Museumjaarkaart (Museum Card), ICOM/ICAM, VriendenLoterij VIP Card, Rotterdam Pass, or Rembrandt Card, you have free entrance to the exhibitions and reservations are not necessary: simply show your discount card at the desk.
