Would you like to learn more about living in a food forest? Join us on a guided tour through Rijnvliet, the biggest edible neighborhood in The Netherlands. Be tempted to taste everything edible in the neighborhood, berries, leaves, flowers... and experience what it does for a community, how it creates different social connections than an average residential area.    

Rijnvliet, next to Utrecht, is the first and largest edible neighborhood of the Netherlands.  
The 15ha food forest enhances the ecosystem services of the area, including water management, heat reduction and air purification. The abundant green and blue spaces are harmoniously blended with the built environment. The quality of life is enhanced by providing a rich human experience, high biodiversity and extensive habitat for birds, bats and other species.
