The Botanical West: from neighborhood garden to green monument

The Oude Westen has a rich tradition of neighborhood activism and initiatives. From the Aktiegroep and Leeszaal-West to the Rijnhoutpleinfestival. Tuin de Bajonet occupies a special position here: idea, design, collaboration and management come together in the genesis of this beautiful garden. As Tuin de Bajonet celebrates its 10th anniversary, we look back and forward to the green approach in the neighborhood and in the city. There will be activities throughout the afternoon, including tours, a workshop and live music.
