Guided Curator Tour with Catherine Koekoek

As a feminist political theorist grounded in architecture practice, Catherine Koekoek’s tour highlights how the exhibition functions as an infrastructure for transformation.

In order to build hopeful futures, we need to transform the ways in which we see, think, feel, and build. In Donna Haraway's words: "it matters what thoughts think thoughts"; or following Audre Lorde's famous principle: "The master's tools cannot dismantle the master's house". Within the exhibition, this tour focuses on architectural practices that develop new methods, strategies and skills for change. It also tells the story behind the Practice Place, a soft assembly space in the exhibition where we invite the architectural public to build alliances for change.

The spoken language is English.

The tour is free. Registration for this tour is not mandatory but advisable due to limited capacity.

Please note that a ticket for the event does not give access to the exhibition. Tickets for the Nature of Hope exhibition can be purchased via this link.
