Announcement of the grant of the Open Call Architecture 2024

Who will receive the 2nd grant from the Cultuurfonds Fund for Architecture? During the announcement you will find out everything about this special named fund that annually donates 100,000 euros to a project in the public space via an open call. The relationship between client and design talent and fair pay are central. With, among others, Cathelijne Broers, Saskia van Stein, Gus Tielens, Martin Fredriks, Hans van Straten and Common Practice.  

Thanks to the private patrons of the Cultuurfonds Fund for Architecture, the Cultuurfonds makes €100,000 available every year.  

The aim is to stimulate small special projects in the public space in which the architect/designer is involved in the entire design and realisation process. For younger architects in particular, this can be a stepping stone to more or larger projects and position improvement. Think of a monument, bridge, fountain or folly. Applications can be made by initiators who ensure that the design is realized, in close collaboration with an architect or designer with a special design.
