Ministerie van Maak! x Gelderland opens new perspectives

Ministerie van Maak! has a new website! Behind the scenes, the designers at 75B have been hard at work on the new look and feel, alongside a wide range of content updates.
Ministerie van Maak!, founded by ZUS, MISC and IABR, is proud to launch its new website to coincide with the opening of the exhibition Het Land van Melk en Honing (The Land of Milk and Honey) at the Provincial Government Building in Arnhem on 7 October. This marks the launch of the Ministry’s second edition: Ministerie van Maak! x Gelderland. Together with the Province of Gelderland, the initiative explores new perspectives for the future.
This second edition has been given its own dedicated section on the new website, featuring background information, videos, visual material from the design teams and their spatial research. The participating practices are FARO and LOF, LMNL and Dérive, Ziegler | Branderhorst, and team YIMBA!, a collaboration between KRAFT architecten, COAL studio, LANDLAB and Urban Synergy.
The first edition from 2022 also retains a prominent place on the website. The wealth of ideas generated by the 101 test sites for new housing across the Netherlands has lost none of its relevance. The material sparks the imagination by showing what becomes possible when we focus more on making. One of the conclusions was that landscape, agriculture and housing should be developed hand in hand in test areas where conventional planning approaches are set aside. And another: architects have vision. Let them put it to work.
