Get in touch with the imagination and ideas of the design-oriented Netherlands
From 1 to 7 November, the Ministry of Make! exhibition can be visited in the Huis der Provincie in Arnhem. The models from the province of Gelderland on display are by Jona 20in2040, Vals Plåt, CITYFÖRSTER, Experimentele Woningbouw Re-imagined, Schipper Bosch: Special Projects, Regeneration!, Z|B and Lokalen. These models are the result of an open call to develop 10,000 climate-proof dwellings in a self-selected area in the Netherlands.
During this exhibition, the Ministry of Make! will further explore the specific spatial challenges of the region. The aim is to thus concretize the connection between national policy and local challenges and to start a conversation about the future of our space. The Ministry of Make! is a self-proclaimed inter-ministry established on 16 June 2022 by ZUS, MANN and the IABR on the basis of the idea that an accumulation of challenges – the housing shortage, the energy transition, and the consequences of climate change – calls for imaginative and spatially integrated solutions.
