In a series of Urban Meetings, The Healthy City, the IABR–Project Atelier Utrecht will share and discus the issues and the (preliminary) results of the research by design conducted in the Atelier with local stakeholders and experts.
The main research question of the IABR–Project Atelier Utrecht is: “Which innovative spatial strategies can contribute to the development of Utrecht as an inclusive, healthy city - strategies where solidarity between different generations, cultures and income groups play a central role and which can inspire the rest of the Netherlands and abroad?”
The collaborative development of new knowledge and understandings, and the exploration of new alliances is an integral part of the work of the Atelier, while the public meetings, in which the issues will be further explored, are part of that process.
The Healthy City meetings are organized by the IABR, the Municipality of Utrecht and AORTA Center of Architecture Utrecht and happen between September 2015 and January 2016.
